The warm welcome! The invited Jamaican Diaspora Delegation from North America paid an official visit to Ghana through the grassroots portal of ROC Factory. The president and founder Donnaray Roc invited a delegation of Pastors, Ministers, Gospel Musicians, Philanthropist, Nurse practitioners to fellowship and explore Ghanaian culture during the Easter season; Slated Revival And Praise “Spiritual Journey Exploration”.  The spiritual exchange was in collaboration with Believers’ House of Worship International hosting the delegation.  An annual exploration connecting the African Caribbean Diaspora for various exchanges and explorations.   Joining with Dr. Marjorie Mcintosh, Of Praise House Ministry and Dr. Veronica Tracey from The Remnant Ministry who are the Directors for the delegation of Churches and Ministries such as Calvary Church of God, Shekinah Faith Ministries.  Pastors who are nurse practitioners in the medical field came to also offer their services, Pastor Norma, Francis, Pualette  Jarrett, Pastor Edwards, and Dr. Veronica Tracey participated in the free health screening.

Since the launch of The Black Star Renaissance Initiative from September 2021, this was the official maiden edition of the quarterly exchanges on the calendar of the intent that was launched.  An initiative intended to bring value that will contribute to deepen relationships between Ghana and the African Caribbean Diaspora, as well as to help change the diaspora perspective’s view about Africa.  “We are thrilled that such a grounded group, primarily women of God came into Ghana, this was their very first time on the continent, my team and I are very pleased that we have exceeded their expectations and they had a memorable experience in Ghana they will never forget” mentioned Donnaray.

The tailored itinerary included official courtesy visits;  Panel discussion themed around “Women Spiritual Growth”, visit to the Cape Coast Castle; Special visit to Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III, O, during the Akwesidae Festival and the nurses offered free health screening.  Additionally, on the behalf of the Roc Foundation the delegation made donations to Demonstration school for the deaf, in Akwapem Mampong.  In addition, Easter spiritual focus programs were hosted in collaboration with Believers’ House of Worship International during Easter.
